I got the final grade of a B

I got a final grade of a B for an online class that I was taking.  Boy I am sure glad that is over, it is hard taking an online class, going to night school and starting a new job at one time.  Boy I am sure glad that it is over.  Now I can concentrate on my knitting/quilting for the summer.  Oh yeah and go through our son's dresser drawers and closets to get rid of the old clothes that he does not wear anymore.
oh well, time to go and celebrate with a glass of wine, until later:)

My Baby is home-my babylock sewing machine

ok, she is home, I love her, still learning how she works, boy I can't wait to start my new project with her.  MY BABY IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  See pictures below.  I have so many projects going here, I think I will start my Block of the Month(with Millhouse Quilts) project with Audrey.  She is smaller then my Emerald-Viking sewing machine, lighter too :).  only 12.8 lbs, love it, I just love it.  Ok, until next posting, back to playing with Audrey:)

My New Baby Lock is coming home soon.

Ok, where do I start.  Ok, I am still working at the insurance place(which I am still a temp).  They posted a underwriting position which I applied for.  Hoping as well as other people that I get the job.  That would make my life so much easier.  I was in school for Basic Anatomy which I land up dropping because it was harder then I thought.  and the there was Intro to Health Records which because I missed 1 assignment, the teacher gave me a F as a final grade, unbelieveable.  oh well, will have to just take the classes again.  I know, what a waste it was.  but as far as for the basic anatomy class, the teacher, which this was her first class teaching it was no help at all.  she never checked our homework and that is hard because you don't know if you have the right answers for the quizzes/test.  that is how we study for them, from our home work.  Oh well, next fall again.  if I get this job, most likely it will only be one class at a time.  I am going to do overtime as much as I can/or they will let me do if they give me the job, keep your fingers crossed.

Ok, now on to other news.  my hubby told me the other night that my baby can come home soon, that is my Baby Lock Sewing machine(which I have on layaway).  Audrey is her name and I can't wait, 2 more weeks and she will be home with me.  I am so happy for that.  I am going to sew on it like crazy, ok maybe not that much until I figure it all out.

March 6th 2011

ok is has been sometime since I posted anything on my blog, here it goes.  I am still working the assignment went longer then planned.  I am now in school taking basic anatomy and intro to health records.  not too bad.  I am hungry to get back into quilting/knitting/crocheting.  I went to the quilt shop of whom I join the "Syliva's bridal sampler" which I just love.  I only did like 3 squares so far and they are like 1/3 into the 3-year quilt.  I am going to get caught up this summer(if I don't take a class at school).  I put money down on my baby, that is my new sewing machine, I put on layaway a brand new Baby Lock sewing machine(audrey).  I am going to love it when I get it home:).  I can keep my emerald sewing machine in place on the table and use Audrey for classes,retreats and taking up north to our summer home on the lake.  I have been trying to keep up with blogs on the quilter's blog.  I love that site.  Oh well, time to get back to life here, laundry, studying and wishing:).  until next time.

Wednesday night at home

I finally made it through the Medical Terminology class and I passed with a C, am I glad for that.  That class was not Easy at all.  I look forward to going to my next two classes here in the end of Jan 2011.  Basic Anatomy and Intro to Health Records.  I am back at work now, since Oct 4th 2010.  Where I was working(they laid me off), had called me back for a few months here.  I enjoy working there, it gives me more experience in the insurance world.  I also look forward to getting some quilting,knitting,crocheting, house cleaning and some other things done here in the next few weeks.  I only have a few weeks here because soon I will be back in school at night and studying.  Well, time to hit the hay here, or get to bed because some of us have to go to work tomorrow not like others(like son-off from school until Jan 3rd,2011 and husband who took off the time that the son has off.)

Friday Afternoon

Ok, I am suppose to be studying, well I am not.  I am excited that I am going to the Madison Quilt Show in Madison, WI tomorrow 9-11-2010.  Meeting up with another quilter to ride with.  Tomorrow is also Patriotic Day.  It has been 9 years since our great nation was attacked.  I will have my moment of silence on my way to the quilt show.  Please take a moment of silence.  I am hoping that I will do good in Medical Terminology.  We will see.

Last Day of Summer Vacation(going back to school tomorrow)

Ok, wow, I can't believe it, it is that time again, the yellow school buses going pass the house:), got to love it:), no just kidding.  yep, it is that time.  Our son starts 2nd grade tomorrow.  Let's see how have I been since my last post? well, we were on vacation for another week, just loved that(have not had 2 weeks of vacation since never, in one summer). I finally got to go quilting on a friday night and got something done, just loved that.  Oh yeah, went school clothes shopping for our son.  I started school last night.  We took our son's school supplies to school to meet his teacher and where his class was yesterday before I had to go to class.  Today I had a job interview, wow, it has been like 3 yrs since I had a job interview.  Like I said, tomorrow our son is on the yellow school bus.  I can have my wednesday's back, that is I can go and quilt at the shop for a few hours.  Before you know it, it will be fall and then winter.  Well, time to get back into what ever I was doing, oh yeah, nothing:).  I will be spending the day with our son.  His last day with Mom, at McDonald's.  Lunch that is:).
